Welcome
Why This Site Exists
Hi, my name is Frank. This site serves as both my documentation hub and personal blog. The blog is a way to stay connected with family, friends, and others overseas where communication can be challenging. The documentation, on the other hand, is primarily for my own use when traveling. Since everything is version-controlled with Git, I can easily spin up a local blog in remote areas, ensuring I have access to my notes and writings wherever I go.
Who am I
My identity without Christ is nothing. He is my foundation, my purpose, and my guide. I do not believe in separating work, personal life, and faith—Christ is everything in every area of my life, and I am unapologetic for it.
I also do not believe that color, sex, or career define a person. True identity is found in Christ alone, not in earthly labels or societal status. Without Him, I have no lasting hope or direction, but in Him, I find strength, peace, and purpose in every step I take.
Profession of Faith
I believe in one God, eternally existing in three persons—Father, Son, and Holy Spirit—each fully God, distinct in personhood yet one in essence. This Trinity is a divine mystery, revealing the fullness of God's nature, unity, and love.
I believe in God, the Creator of heaven and earth, who reigns sovereign over all things, seen and unseen. He is the Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end, unchanging in His love, justice, and mercy.
I believe in Jesus Christ, the Son of God, fully divine and fully human, who was sent into the world to redeem sinners. Conceived by the Holy Spirit and born of the virgin Mary, He lived a sinless life, teaching truth, healing the broken, and revealing the heart of the Father. He suffered and died on the cross, bearing the weight of our sins, and on the third day, He rose again, conquering death. He ascended into heaven and sits at the right hand of the Father, interceding for His people, and He will return to judge the living and the dead, bringing His kingdom to completion.
I believe in the Holy Spirit, the Comforter and Guide, who dwells within all who trust in Christ. He convicts of sin, empowers believers, and leads them in truth. Through Him, the Church is strengthened, the Word is illuminated, and the Gospel is proclaimed to the ends of the earth.
I believe in the Holy Scriptures, God’s inspired and authoritative Word, which is a lamp unto my feet and a light unto my path. It is the foundation of faith and practice, revealing God's redemptive plan and calling His people to live in obedience and love.
I believe in the Church, the body of Christ, made up of all who trust in Him for salvation. It is called to worship, to serve, to make disciples, and to be a light in the darkness. As part of this body, I commit to living out my faith in love, humility, and truth, wherever I am placed.
I believe in grace, that salvation is a gift, not earned by works, but received through faith in Jesus Christ alone. I am called to love God with all my heart, soul, mind, and strength, and to love my neighbor as myself. Whether in my home, my community, or in places unknown, I recognize that every step I take is an opportunity to reflect the love and truth of Christ.
In all things, I place my trust in God, seeking to walk faithfully until the day I see Him face to face.
Career & Professional Trade
I work in technology, where the details can sometimes be complex and challenging, even for experienced professionals. My career began in web design, advertising, and marketing, but in time, I was led into DevOps, where I now focus on automation, scripting, and infrastructure management.
More recently, I’ve been asked to step into security work to help meet specific needs. Recognizing my own limitations in networking and security, I am committing 2025 to learning and growing in those areas, trusting that each step will be guided and strengthened by God's provision.
Rather than specializing narrowly, I’ve been blessed with a variety of experiences throughout my life — from infantry training to stock trading, building a house to learning languages, playing instruments to troubleshooting technical problems. In each case, God has used these opportunities to grow adaptability, resourcefulness, and perseverance.
I believe that none of these experiences have been wasted. Each has been preparing me "for such a time as this" (Esther 4:14), shaping me for purposes beyond my own understanding.
Hobbies
Gardening, hiking, technology, and entrepreneurship. I find joy in growing food, exploring the outdoors, working on new technology projects, and building things from the ground up — seeing each opportunity as a chance to learn, create, and steward the gifts God has given.
